Business Analyst
Salary:
£50-70k plus bonus on top
Location:
London (hybrid or fully remote an option, if preferred)
Purpose of role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our rapidly expanding Sports Analytics company.
You will be part of the technology team and will be working in a fast paced, delivery focused environment playing a critical role in defining andenabling business change on a number of cutting-edge projects.
Your primary role will be facilitating the delivery of the company's software and services product roadmap, liaising with various internal stakeholders, gathering and documenting requirements, planning workloads, defining test plans and reporting on projectprogress.
As a growing company, you will have an opportunity to input into defining and shaping these processes and workflows as they mature.
Key responsibilities
- Working with various internal stakeholders
- Running requirement workshops
- Scoping out, gaining a deep understanding of, documenting, and presenting requirements for key workstreams and projects
- Creating Business Requirement Documents
- Creating Functional Specifications
- Creating logical solutions for complex issues
- Planning and implementing testing
- Working with teams on change management and requisite training
- Data Mapping
- Assisting the Testing Team to validate output and identify issues
Experience and Knowledge
Previous Business Analyst experience with successful track record of delivering required business analysis on a variety of projects and programmes.
Essential:
- A track record of delivering impactful change, engaging multiple disparate stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience of responsibility for delivery from project inception through to production implementation
- A team first attitude and a desire to make a real impact in a growing business
- Great communication and time management skills
- Good knowledge of Advanced Excel
- Experience working with large data sets
- The ability to work in a team as well as individually
- The ability to prioritise responsibilities and work under tight deadlines
- The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience of writing user stories and user acceptance criteria
- Good attention to detail
- Good presentation skills
Desirable:
- Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of CICD methods.
- Agile/Scrum/Iteration based Development/Change methods.
- TDD.
- Ability to engage and communicate successfully with stakeholders with strong written and verbal communication skills.
