Are you passionate about food and driven to create unforgettable culinary experiences? Join us as the Food Lead and become the driving force behind food experiences at our campus.
In this role, you will oversee the operations of two coffee shops—Java—and a brand-new restaurant, Bite and Co, alongside our bustling grab-and-go/multi-fresh server.
Serving up to covers a day of high-quality, fresh food, and with a growing campus population of 2000 on-site, your leadership will be pivotal in meeting and exceeding the evolving demands.
Reporting directly to the General Manager and the Head of Food, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our culinary offerings.
Your primary focus will be on enhancing customer service and driving spend per head, ensuring that every interaction with our food leaves a lasting impression.
Your commitment to service excellence will inspire our team to deliver exceptional experiences, while your strategic vision will guide us in exceeding customer expectations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspire a team to meet the campus spirit to offer unique experiences to every customer
- Keep our colleagues and the Barclays colleagues, visitors' and clients safe with our safetyfirst mentality while they are in our care, using the safety tools available to you
- Support each other to implement new services, operational change and events so as we can continuously optimise the campus and customer experience
- Keep your ear close to the ground Tell us what the customer wants and how we keep our clients happy and coming back
- Share your ideas on how to position our offering and meet goals are key to the success of the campus
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Exceptional leadership skills with core competencies around developing a vision, strategic leadership and team engagement
- Senior Operational Management of multisite or single site management demonstrating continuous improvement with a turnover of more than £2m and operating on a commercial basis
- Experience mobilising new contracts & demobilising existing sites is essential
- Demonstration of senior Customer engagement for a contract of more than 4000 FTE
- Professional qualification through over 10 years within management or HND/Degree level qualification
