As a Catering Supervisor with ISS UK, you will be at the heart of the action and will play a key role in our kitchens and cafeterias. You will be encouraging and enabling your team to maintain the highest quality food service, leading the preparation and delivery of food while keeping an excellent standard of cleanliness and safety.

The Role
***-
To provide a high quality Catering service to patients, staff and visitors, maintaining a safe environment, in an efficient and safe manner in accordance with the specification. These duties may be carried out both in patient, and non-patient environments.

Provide direction, guidance and support all staff to ensure the necessary duties are carried out to maintain an efficient Catering service.

Be responsive to service needs as they arise and to constantly seek to improve the productivity and quality of the service
:

All work must be undertaken in line with health, safety, security, Company and Trust policies and procedures including infection control.

When required, you may also need to assist with the emergency and evacuation procedures and security situations in accordance with the Trust policy.

Liaise with patients to monitor quality of catering service, food, presentation etc

*:

-
Order, control, monitor food item materials and other goods required by the staff to allow them to carry out their duties effectively

Ensure the effective delivery of the Catering service within a designated area. Complying with agreed staffing levels, work schedules, and using appropriate methods of work, ensuring service level agreement and quality standards are met in line with Company & Trust policies.

Ensure you and the staff are adhering to the company food safety policy at all times.

About You
***-
Supervisor experience preferably within a food service environment:

Previous supervisory experience would be ideal but full site training will be provide

Good understanding of the principals of food hygiene

*:

-
A team player who works well with customers and colleagues

*:

-
Be able to communicate with all site users in a polite manner

*:

-
Have a good eye for detail and clean to an exceptional standard

Have good people skills
