My client is seeking a Performance Management Specialist/Consultant who will be a key member of the HR/People team, acting as a partner to the business to ensure that Performance Management (PM) approach is a key business enabler through insight and relationshipbuilding.


Reporting to the Group Head of Reward, owning the delivery of cyclical Performance Management (PM) processes, and support in the design and delivery of the PM strategy, principles and policy implementation across the Group.


Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Lead on behalf of the Group Head of Reward with cyclical PM processes, such as objective setting, mid and end of year process mapping
  • Ensure operational excellence in all cyclical processes by the effective project management and planning, to support the wider People team and business in these activities
  • Working closely with the HRBPs and other key stakeholders regarding deadlines and key PM activity
  • Ensuring that all PM related information including complex data is effectively managed and up to date in relevant systems
  • To establish robust performance frameworks that deliver colleague experience through the yearround processes
  • To support the Group to implement projects where a change to its service is required
  • Role interfaces with the wider HR team, with particular alignment with the Organisational Development team
  • Interfaces with wider areas such as Finance, or Business Planning or General Counsel
  • Support the Group Head of Reward in ensuring that PM is a key enabler of business success through ensuring PM is championed within the organisation.

Experience
Essential

  • Experience of working in a similar role in a fastpaced environment
  • Demonstrable experience of building and developing
  • A skilled partner and relationship builder
  • Strong knowledge of Performance Management
  • Commercially focussed and service driven while balancing a genuine desire to enhance the overall employee experience
  • A passion for delivery and working to SLA targets and KPI's
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Experience of working with significant amounts of data and information, and having the requisite attention to detail
  • Track record of delivering key initiatives within a challenging environment
Desirable

  • CIPD qualified / degree equivalent
  • Experience of preparing written RemCom/Board papers
  • Reward experience and the linkage between pay frameworks such as bonus design
  • Experience of systems design
