As a Mechanical Supervisor, you'll be an integral part of one of our departments including:

  • Steelmaking
  • Rod Mill
  • OPP

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate within a dynamic, multidisciplined team to provide topnotch engineering services to our manufacturing customers.
  • Will be responsible for managing contractors and mechanical team members.
  • Use your skills to tackle engineering, quality, and safety challenges headon, driving corrective actions when needed.
  • Keep meticulous records of your work activities using our cuttingedge information systems.

What we need to know about you

  • A minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant mechanical trade or a recognized apprenticeship.
  • Ideally, experience in mechanical maintenance within commercial or heavy engineering environments.
  • Experience in risk assessments, permits, planning and managing work load as wells assisting with mechanical fitting tasks.
  • Flexibility, a strong desire to learn and grow, and adaptability to new equipment.
  • While knowledge of the steelmaking process is beneficial, it's not essential—extensive training will be provided.
