Our client is a fully independent Challenger Bank with established track record, proposition, footprint & lending book.

Due to continued growth they have a brand-new role for an experienced Assistant Relationship Manager with a background in Real Estate,to support on & manage a portfolio of existing clients.


Responsibilities of the Assistant Relationship Manager - Real Estate

  • Support Relationship Directors with servicing of portfolio of borrowing customers ensuring adherence to bank standards in respect of credit, operational and regulatory risk
  • Analyse financial and nonfinancial information as part of the completion of credit assessment / annual renewal processes
  • Assist with completion of credit advance proposals and credit annual reviews to the high standards expected for approval
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Bank's products, services and processes
  • Ensure that KYC procedures including the requirements for periodic reviews in accordance with the AML framework on all customer connections are maintained and recorded in accordance with AML policies and procedures

As the Assistant Relationship Manager - Real Estate you will also be involved in

  • Information Security and Data Protection Act 2018 (GDPR)
  • Fair Treatment of Customers

  • Regulatory compliance and prevention of financial crime
  • Disaster recovery and business continuity
  • Proactively contribute to the Performance Planning and Review process
  • Support Bank wide Forums as required or identified
  • Cooperate with and help colleagues across the business, performing other reasonable tasks as may be required from time to time.
