Our
Balfour Beatty Highways business has a terrific opportunity for a
Site Supervisor for our
Mottram Moor Link Road and A57 Link Road highways improvement scheme, in Manchester.

What you'll be doing

As a
Site Supervisor, you will be supporting the Commercial Team managing all the costs related to the
Mottram Moor Link A57 Road highways improvement scheme.

Experienced in the delivery of highprofile projects involving earthworks, deep drainage and

reinforced concrete construction, to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded and enhanced experience for all involved in the scheme

Solution orientated individual, with ability to analyse risks and benefits of options to resolve

identified issues. Proven experience of working to tight deadlines with an ability to prioritise and multi-task

Capable of taking ownership of the works or a section of the works from start to finish, including the handover of the works

Who we're looking for You will have the following**:

Holds a current driving license and CSCS Card and SMSTS

Civils, Infrastructure or Highways projects experience helpful:

Good working knowledge of current H & S legislation
Understands the relevant Business Management System and implements systems and processes (e.g. ordering plant, recruiting labour, disciplinary procedures)
Understands and implements the requirements of Inspection and Test Plans
Be within a reasonable commutable distance of the above base location
