Complete Classroom Services are working with a SEN Primary School Situated in Brent, who is dedicated to providing exceptional education and care for students with complex needs.

They are committed to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential.

They are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team and make a positive difference in the lives of their students.


As a Teaching Assistant within A primary school catering for students with complex needs, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of our students.

Working closely with teachers and other professionals, you will provide tailored support and guidance to help students overcome barriers to learning and thrive in a supportive and enriching environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of students with complex needs.
  • Provide onetoone and small group support to students, including academic support, behavior management, and personal care.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting selfconfidence, independence, and resilience.
  • Support students during transitions between activities, classes, and locations, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
  • Monitor student progress and behavior, recording and reporting on achievements and concerns as required.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to provide holistic support for students and their families.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working with primaryaged students with complex needs, preferably within a school setting.
  • Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of the diverse needs of students with complex needs, including physical disabilities, learning difficulties, and medical needs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting the wellbeing and development of children.
  • Flexibility, resilience, and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of students and the school environment.
