Pharmaceutical Processing Operative

- 10pm shift
Overview


To work as a key member of the Processing Department ensuring all processed product conforms to customer requirements with respect to all aspects of the specification including; identification and packing requirements, whilst maintaining stock control protocols at all times.


Your key responsibilities:

  • To operate processing equipment, liaising with the Shift / Group Leader and Maintenance in order to gain maximum output in line with machine capability to meet agreed production plans and targets.
  • Ensure all processed components conform to quality specifications, liaising with QA dept whenever any quality concerns are raised.
  • Work efficiently and effectively to adhere to agreed production plans and targets.
  • Maintain product and batch integrity throughout the process ensuring traceability by adhering to batch change procedures at all times.
  • Develop knowledge and skills in using ERP system to the required competency level.
  • Have a clear understanding and working knowledge of all procedures relevant to the role. Build and develop working relationships that enable effective communication and encourage team building.
  • Ensure good shift handover in order for the process to flow smoothly without any misunderstandings.
  • Maintain records to ensure accurate completion of relevant documentation associated with the role.
  • Actively contribute to the company's Continuous Improvement Teams.
  • Maintain a high standard of Housekeeping working within GMP guidelines.
  • Participate in training activities necessary to build a strong skills and knowledge base to enable full cover of all processing functions.

Key Capabilities:

  • Some knowledge and handling of ERPsystems (preferably SAP).
  • Have a command of written and spoken English
  • Good level of technical understanding and quick to grasp new tasks
  • Committed and teamoriented with ambition for the future to qualify and progress within the company.
  • Ability to work flexibly in a fastpaced and challenging environment is essential to add value to the organization.
  • Education:
  • Basic numeracy and Literacy skills are essential.

Experience/Knowledge:

  • Production / Batch Inspection experience would be most desirable
  • Ideally with previous high volume Manufacturing / Production background.
