Payroll Operations Manager | £35-40K | Glasgow City Centre (Hybrid after 6 month probation)

Your new role

You will be joining this large companies busy Glasgow based Payroll Team where you will manage and lead the Payroll Team Managers.

Below is a list of responsibilities:

Managing and leading Payroll Team Managers to ensure all our Payrolls are delivered on time and accurately
Providing support and training to all payroll colleagues
Answering and advising on escalated pay and pension queries
Performing routine control checks/auditing on payroll output
Processing End to End Payroll for our customers
Ensuring all thirdparty advance payments are checked approved and paid on time
Ensuring all Payroll Manuals and documentation are kept up to date
Supporting and developing team
Ensuring issues or queries relating to employees or third parties are escalated as appropriate
Ensuring all BACS files are accurate and submitted on time
Delegating for Payroll Team Managers
Deputising for Head of Payroll
Ad hoc duties as required
