Description

Speech Graphics are looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join our People Operations Team, full and part time will be considered.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide support to the People Operations team
  • Maintain information stored in our HRIS (HiBob), ensuring this is up to date and information is stored securely
  • Assist in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, reviewing resumes and conducting preinterview screenings
  • Completing preemployment checks and ensuring onboarding processes are followed
  • Issuing offer letters, contracts and other HR Documentation
  • Create and implement effective HR policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance (with support from People Operations Manager)
  • Manage and process employee leave requests such as vacation, sick and personal leave in our HRIS
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and systems
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding of employees
  • Prepare reports and presentations for the HR Manager and other stakeholders
  • Support the HR Manager on special HR projects
  • Stock ordering for office (refreshments, stationary etc)
  • Work with the Operational Support Associate to maintain Health & Safety and Fire Safety in the office
  • Additional support to other teams where required
Part-time hours will be considered - please provide details of your preferred working schedule.


Requirements:


REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
  • Experience of producing written policy, internal updates or other company communication
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Proficient in Gsuite or MS Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees and stakeholders

NICE TO HAVE:

  • These are a bonus and not firm requirements to apply._
  • Experience of updating/maintaining HRIS (HiBob, Breathe, CharlieHR etc)
  • Experience using an ATS (we use Workable)
  • HR Qualification (HNC, CIPD Level 3, etc)
  • HSE, First Aid and/or Fire Warden Training

In this position, you will gain HR experience in a fast-paced work environment by supporting and improving HR and Operational functions.
