Food Manufacturing

A food manufacturing company are looking for a Maintenance Electrician working a days Monday to Friday shift pattern with a 1 in 5 weekend on call rota.

You will be responsible for conducting routine, reactive maintenance on plant machinery and supportingthe wider engineering team. You will be electrically bias Maintenance Engineer with experience working within a fast paced manufacturing environment.

As a Maintenance Electrician your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of.

Reporting into the Production Manager and working within a small Engineering team.
Complete routine & reactive maintenance and updating records with correct faults and information.
Fault finding and rectification on machinery, discussing improvement across the production and engineering teams.
Maintaining the PPM schedule and communicating any changes or amendments.
Ensuring health & safety standards are followed and always maintained.
Monitoring and keeping stocks of mechanical and electrical spares.
Conducting improvement projects as agreed with Manager.
Working alongside contractors.

An exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician with the following.

Apprentice trained electrically bias Engineer with 18th edition and wiring regulations.
Previous background working within a fast paced environment.
Experience of single and three phase supplies.
Knowledge of facilities maintenance, PLCs, automated controls, and safety compliance.
Flexible approach to working hours and a good understanding of health & safety.
Positive thinking and selfmotivated individual with good communication skills.
