Southern Education Recruitment have recently started supporting several local Nurseries; based in Swanley and are now seeking the following staff to work on a supply basis to cover sickness or when additional staff are required:


  • Level 2 Nursery Practitioner/ Nursery Nurse:

Level 3 Nursery Practitioner/ Nursery Nurse

The role:


Working on a supply basis would mean you would be employed by Southern Education Recruitment (SER) and available for both longer term and adhoc Nursery work based around Nursery requirements, your availability, relevant experience, and qualification level.


Day to Day expectations:


  • Planning activities as a Nursery practitioner
  • Engaging with children in creative activities
  • Making observations using your skills as an effective practitioner
  • Liaising with parents

Minimum Requirements:


  • NVQ Level 2 /Level 3 or equivalent in Child Care
  • Level 4/ Grade C or above in English and Maths GCSE
  • Minimum of one years' experience in Child Care gained in the last 3 years
  • Excellent communication skills with children, staff, and parents
  • An excellent working knowledge of the EYFS curriculum & Safeguarding
  • Experience of working with all ages across the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Schedule: You must be available for either/ both short days (8:0016:00) and/ or long days (7:3018:30)

  • Have no recent criminal convictions/cautions.
  • Have a full original birth certificate, full driving licence and or/valid passport.
  • If you have been a resident for less than 5 years in the UK, a right to work visa and a criminal background check from any country resided in for 6 months or more within the past 5 years must be provided.
