Trainee Optical Pre-screener

Store:
Skipton

Salary:
£11.64 an hour plus a monthly bonus after probation

Hours:
Full time - 36 hours over 4 days - weekend working is essential

Our roles at Specsavers are not your ordinary sales positions - you will join the team as an Optical Pre-screener bringing your valued retail & customer service knowledge to meet the caring values and optical expertise of our brand, making sure every patient receives the best care in our stores.


Responsibilities:


  • Welcoming customers into the store
  • Booking in eye tests
  • Using the latest uptodate equipment to do general checks of the eyes, prior to seeing the Optometrist.
  • Providing style advice
  • Measuring frames
  • Repairing/adjusting frames
  • Taking phone calls
  • Supporting the Optical team with initial prescreening of customers ready for their appointment with the Optometrist.
