Description
Contract management of key suppliers.

Supporting the Team to ensure that appropriate contracts are put in place and managed so as to meet customer / client needs.

Undertaking analysis and research that supports the deliverables of the Team. Assisting and developing reports on contract performance, risks, and issues.

Monitoring contractual obligations and limits through the development of dashboards.

Ability to interpret contract management data to give customers an understanding of the benefits and risks associated with their suppliers.

Assisting in planning strategic sourcing strategies.

Supporting the business in complying with the NHSBSAs Standing Financial Instructions and other controls and governance requirements, ensuring that all necessary approvals are in place.

Assisting with negotiations for contract change and sourcing activities. Working with the Team to ensure the development of contract terms for the service / product procured. Promoting behaviours that encourage a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and delivery of value for money outcomes.

Supporting the decision-making processes through; option analysis, recommending solutions using persuasion and influencing skills on strategic sourcing initiatives as required.

Having a knowledge of the Public Contracts Regulations and the NHSBAs Standing Financial Instructions. Working with customers and clients (using market knowledge and commercial rigour) to develop their requirements into clearly defined specifications. Explaining to customers how this may impact existing contracts and supplier relationships. Assist to ensure that outputs are aligned to Customer / Client expectations.

To ensure effective commercial contract governance and management is undertaken. To provide commercial support on the NHSBSAs business growth activities.
