Family Support Worker

  • Permanent
  • Part Time 30 Hours
  • Grade 7 £24,044 £26,740 (Full time equivalent) depending on experience
  • An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit for a permanent 30 hour Family Support Worker to work in the South area of Doncaster.
  • We are looking for someone who:
  • Has experience of family support working directly with children and families.
  • Is Confident, knowledgeable and has the skills to succeed in this intensive parenting and family support role and who is able to work in a busy working environment.
  • Is a highly motivated practitioner who can work as part of a family support team and work collaboratively with our partners.
  • Is competent of recording on an electronic system and who is a reflective practitioner.
  • Understands safeguarding and thresholds.
  • You will a need to have the ability, and experience of, working directly completing parenting sessions and other appropriate interventions with families that have complex needs at a Team Around the Child level. You will use a whole family approach and evidenced based practices to improve the outcomes for children and families you work with.
