Income Officer - Part-Time - 12 month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover):

About The Role:


As an income officer your role is to provide a customer focused recovery service, maximising income collection and reducing rent arrears, whilst managing and monitoring the rent accounts across all tenure types on a specific patch of properties.

Taking any necessary recovery action in line with Housing Solutions policies and procedures, including the completion of legal paperwork and attending court for possession claims.


About you:

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar customer facing role.

You must be experienced with negotiating payment arrangements and debt recovery plans, and you will be confident at challenging customers on their income and expenditure.

Above all, you will understand the importance of early intervention to prevent rising debt.


You must have ability to work in a customer focused environment, working to tight deadlines and be confident working within a team and independently.
