The role
As a Services Team Leader, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be accountable for the safe and compliant delivery of radiological protection instrument services for our clients

Day to day, you'll supervise and manage service delivery team to ensure all team deliverables are achieved consistent with schedules and to the appropriate levels of quality and customer service

Manage the performance and development of the team and coaches team members to ensure skills and capability are maintained within department
Project Management and / or Technical Leadership of services, tasks and projects in line with agreed KPIs, scope, costs and appropriate quality standards and legislation
Perform appropriate reviews and audits of service against management systems within an overall programme
Delivery of health, safety, quality, environmental and security accountabilities through personal example, management and holding team accountable.

Essential experience of the Services Team Leader:

Experience in managing a team involved in the delivery of relevant engineering, technical service or scientific discipline (with line management responsibilities)
Experience of working in a highly regulated industry
Proven experience in safety management within a high hazard environment
Experience working collaboratively with customers

This role is a full time, onsite role at Sellafield.

Qualifications for the Services Team Leader:

Relevant scientific or engineering qualification (e.g. apprenticeship / degree)
