This is a wonderful opportunity to work for a well-established housing maintenance company working within social housing sector.
Our client are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in the E4 area.
What will you be doing?
Joining our team as a Maintenance Supervisor, you would be responsible for liaising with their staff and client representatives to provide a seamless housing property management service
Other duties also include:
- Ensures the delivery of the maintenance contract are at their full potential both operationally and commercially
- Ensure all operatives are fulfilling their days to the maximum capability
- Ensuring safe systems of works are being adhered to at all time
- Carry out regular inspections, (pre, in progress and post)
- Carry our regular vehicle inspections
- Attends client meetings
- Troubleshoots day to day challenges
- Oversees any jobs that have been escalated by the clients or SMT
- Conduct Operative appraisals along with Manager
- Providing quotations for more detailed work
- Scaffold inspections (Qualification required) if required
- Trains and develops operatives and admin on technical queries
What we require:
The ideal Maintenance Supervisor would have worked in a similar role previously, ideally for a specialist contractor. This role would suit those with an inquiring, problem solving mind and also for those that are task oriented.
Individuals who can act ontheir own initiative and are self-motivated with a competitive drive to get tasks completed would be suitable for this role.
You will also possess:
- Understanding of Health & Safety & Safe Systems of working (qualification preferred but not essential)
- Asbestos awareness (Compulsory)
- Technical/Trade understanding
- Experience of NHF Schedule of Rates
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to motive others
- Ability to work under pressure
- Full Driving Licence
