We are looking for full-time Boatbuilders to come and join our team working 07.00am-17.30pm Monday-Thursday (40 hours per week). There are positions available for all levels of experience.

Job description
The role of Boat Builder will include the following:

Scribing and fitting Joinery parts
Fitting teak decks
Fitting external Stainlesssteel hardware
Installation of windows, doors and furnishings
Using hand and machine tools
Fitting of GRP parts
And all other aspects of Boat Assembly

Essential Skills

Able to show competence and experience in a variety of boat building skills
Take pride in, and take responsibility for the work that you do
Be happy working under supervision, but competent working alone where required
Be confident using fixed machinery
To be accurate
Good attention to detail and well organised
Good practical hand skills
Practical skills we find are often more important than qualifications.
Be physically fit
Basic knowledge of Health and Safety
Hard working and reliable

Location

The usual place of work for this role is the Mylor Creek Boatyard or at our site at Vospers of Ponsharden, Falmouth TR11 2SD.

Salary
A competitive and negotiable hourly rate of £10 to £16, dependent on experience.
