About the role:


This is a key role on our site which reports directly to the Safety and Environmental Manager and will deputise in their absence.

You will support the safety and environmental management on the site ensuring compliance to our 3-year plans and the requirements of certified management systems and permits (e.g. ISO 14001 certification, Environmental Permit) in order to achieve sustainable and continuous improvement. You will help to develop and maintain procedures forming part of the site's safety & environment management systems.


Who we're looking for:


You'll play a key part in maintaining correct behaviours towards the Safety Pillar, developing as a methodology expert to support site improvement teams.

Confidence to deliver site training needs is something you'll have.


We are looking for an enthusiastic and robust individual who is confident in their responsibility for providing advice and support to ensure risk assessments are maintained and effective control measures are in place across site.

We are also looking for you to have the following:


  • Experience in supporting leaders and colleagues to deliver safety and environmental improvements
  • Confidence to undertake audits according to site plans
  • Ability to create fun and informative ways to educate and engage with colleagues on health and environmental matters
