    Position Overview:


    As a Maths Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and comprehensive mathematics lessons to secondary school students.

    You will be responsible for teaching the Maths curriculum, covering key concepts, problem-solving techniques, and mathematical reasoning.

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan and deliver dynamic and wellstructured maths lessons that cater to students' diverse learning needs.
    • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation and collaborative learning.
    • Teach and assess students' mathematical knowledge, skills, and understanding.
    • Instil problemsolving strategies and promote logical thinking in students' approach to mathematics.
    • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to support students' progress and achievement.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
    • Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and school events to foster positive engagement and communication.
    • Keep abreast of educational advancements and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
    • Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level.
    • Indepth knowledge of the Maths curriculum and proficiency in teaching key mathematical concepts.
    • Strong subject knowledge in areas such as algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students.
    • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
    • Organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
    • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying uptodate with educational trends.
