If so, our client, a market leader in renewable technology, is recruiting for a Head of Finance and Operations for their offices in Woking. This role will involve managing the operational and financial aspects of the business and working closely with the business owners to make strategic decisions aimed at facilitating the continued growth and expansion of the company.

    Job Description

    • Ensuring the efficient and effective day to day operation of the finance function and managing cash flow, investments, and financial risk.
    • Collaborating internally to optimise the efficiency of the existing finance system (Sage 200) and eventually, leading a project to upgrade the Finance system.
    • Reviewing existing processes, identifying gaps and areas for improvement, and collaborating closely with the Director to establish effective processes.
    • Overseeing the day to day operation of the business to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
    • Managing a team of 18 including the Financial Controller and Business Support Team.

    Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

    • Previous experience in a finance or operations leadership role.
    • Holder of a relevant finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, etc)
    • Experience of change management.
    • While not essential, experience of working in a relevant role within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
