Our busy Tenancy Sustainment Team provides support to vulnerable residents to enable them to sustain their tenancies and make the most of their lives.

A vulnerable adult is defined as an individual age 18 or older who has the functional, mental, or physical inability to care for themselves.


As a Tenancy Sustainment Officer, you will deliver a tenancy sustainment service within the Herefordshire and Worcestershire management areas in a social housing setting.

The service is offered to vulnerable tenants experiencing temporary difficulties in managing their tenancy or residents experiencing crisis


In housing you can make a real difference, the role of Tenancy Sustainment Officer will involve:

  • Assessment and provision of interventions and support for existing customers to prevent tenancy failure by e
  • Signpost customers to local complimentary services which manage customers specific needs
  • Working closely with key internal and external partners such as Mental Health team, Social Worker, Probation, Local Authorities, DWP and Grant providers, in the development of interventions and initiatives that prevent tenancy failure and promote sustainment.

As
Tenancy Sustainment Officer we need you to have**:

  • Ability to deliver a highly customer focused and cost-effective service to tenants with complex needs.

  • Being able to work under pressure
  • Ability to meet deadlines and organising and prioritising your own and your teams workload
