NWF Agriculture manufactures and supplies ruminant compound feeds and blends, supported by a comprehensive Trading Desk specializing in a range of straights and speciality feeds, forage seeds and additives. The mill at Wardle was opened in 1980 and is the largest specialist ruminant feed mill in the UK.

We are looking for a highly motived and professional
Transactional Services Supervisor to join our Finance Team here at Wardle.
The
TSS will report to the Financial Reporting Manager and be responsible for both Purchase Ledger and Credit Control Teams.
The role of the
TSS would be to ensure all tasks in both CC and PL teams are completed in an effective and efficient manner and on time.
TSS would be expected to raise concerns and manage difficult situations to establish if there are any issues the Company can rectify or provide guidance for.
TSS would also need to step in as needed to cover holidays, illness or staffing shortages within either team.
The Company would also expect the
TSS to manage petty cash balances, ensuring all spend is within company policy and receipts are provided, prepare monthly journals in AX whilst ensuring VAT is correctly recorded, and petty cash balance sheet reconciliations which are reviewed by the FC.
The
TSS will follow daily direct debits and cheques processes, attend weekly cashflow meetings, input refunds and continually monitor Company's debt position while understanding all balances and planning to recover overdue debt.
TSS will control and manager the customer complaints process and company cars policies.
Skills we are looking for:
- Proven previous experience managing an Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger team and Credit control / Sales ledger team.
- Excellent team leader with proven ability to manage teams to meet deadlines and targets
- Flexible, punctual, and able to meet multiple deadlines
- Confident, selfmotivated with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be commercially minded with the ability to deliver a high level of customer service.
- Detailed knowledge of Accounting and IT systems
- Highly organised with a 'can do' approach
- Able to identify problems and make decisions, taking appropriate action to resolve
- Competent user of Microsoft packages with good Excel
