Description

We are currently looking for a talented and ambitious Senior Energy Engineer to join a progressive building services engineering consultancy specialising in low energy building design and energy generation projects.

This role is required due to expandingand exciting portfolio projects.

The role will ideally be based at their London office - hybrid working can be discussed depending on circumstances.

The position will require a strong technical knowledge to be able to deliver energy and sustainability projects for all sectors of the business in London and throughout the UK.

The Key Activities:

Act as Project Engineer including environmental design for a range of projects; particularly in the commercial, civic and cultural, educational and healthcare sectors
Develop project scope with design team/clients including budgeting and reporting
Implement and oversee successful design solutions for Projects
Oversee Resource Management and Planning to ensure successful Project delivery
Must have TM52, TM54, TM59, Part O experience

A technical understanding of a range of energy services such as:

Energy strategies, Sustainability statements, Detailed thermal modelling
Part L modelling
Peak Load Analysis
TM54, TM59 modelling
Assessment methods such as BREEAM, WELL, Whole life carbon analysis
Assistance with complimentary services such as wind & microclimate, passive house, IAQ optimisation etc

Desired Skills and Knowledge:

Degree qualified with experience in simulation, airflow, daylight/sunlight
Project Delivery from concept to completion
Presentation skills with clients, architects, project managers.
Knowledge of environmental, electrical engineering design and techniques.

Salary:
£50,000 (negotiable dep on exp) + Bonus + Benefits
