Salary Base salary:
£53,850 pa to £67,300 (London) depending on skills and experience. In addition, we offer flexible benefits fund of 20% which is paid on top base salary and is fully pensionable, as well as a range of competitive benefits - check them out in the Benefits section on our website.

As a Senior Planner at HS2 you will be accountable for leading on developing and maintaining an integrated baseline schedule for the Euston Campus and will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and monitoring of the Euston Benefits Baseline.

**Please note this is a Fixed-term role until May 2025

**About the role: - Develop and monitor and maintain an integrated baseline schedule for the Euston Campus

  • To be responsible for the development, monitoring, and maintenance of the Euston Benefits Baseline
  • To be responsible for working with Project Managers and Project Controls Managers across parent organisations to maintain project schedules and effectively manage change, providing assurance to the plans and schedules submitted by the supply chain.
  • To be responsible for the development of an integrated project schedule across integrator and delivery areas, ensuring dependencies and interfaces across functional areas and with parent organisations are effectively managed, identifying any risks and potential impacts, and proposing mitigation strategies where applicable.
  • To be responsible for supporting schedule input into the development of an integrated project baseline across development and delivery areas. Correlating schedule, cost, and risk assessment through to influence critical path analysis and providing robust and quality plans to support decision making.
  • Identifying key programme interfaces and working with the delivery teams, within TEP, HS2, NR and the supply chain, to document and manage these.
  • To be responsible for supporting Whatif scenario planning, providing integrated solutions to programme and project conflicts and recoveries, supporting trade off decision making.
  • To have accountability for providing specialist planning and integration support where required.
  • To provide scheduling and planning support to Topic Panels such as CIPP and EIDP
  • To be accountable for collaborating with project delivery teams, the supply chain, and stakeholders (including regulatory bodies, and the Department for Transport) where necessary to support the integration of all time, cost, and quality information to support the monitoring of project progress and supply chain performance.
  • To be responsible for inputting into the development of planning and integration policy, processes, and standards across the business, leveraging industry best practice to drive continuous improvement and assure that these are implemented consistently and effectively across development and delivery areas.

  • Ability to use planning software including Primavera P6 at an advanced level.
  • Ability to integrate planning activities across multiple complex projects.
  • Ability to implement the delivery of processes, procedures and guidance that support project delivery and improve efficiency and accuracy within planning systems.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data, producing accurate, timely and informative reports in multiple formats targeted to the needs of the audience.

_Knowledge:
_


  • Working knowledge of planning systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of the core Project Controls disciplines, including Schedule Management, Cost Management, Change Management and Risk Management and an understanding of how they interrelate.
  • Degree level qualification in a relevant field.

_Types of Experience _

  • Experience in the core project controls functions, including baseline maintenance, schedule management, cost performance, change management, risk management and performance reporting.
