Description
Ambient People is working with a local authority to recruit an interim Capital Accountant.The successful candidate will be technically strong with a good understanding of capital financing, the fixed asset register to ensure the statement of accounts are completed accurately.
This position will require a proactive candidate with strong attention to detail, as well as previous demonstrable capital accounting experience, ideally in another local authority or public sector organisation.
Effective communication skills to help collaborate with the wider business outside of finance will be key along with a solid grasp of working papers.
