£28,000-£35,000 depending on experience, plus company benefits

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm with 1-day WFH option
The Company:
We are delighted to be representing a privately-owned, fast-growing business within the
Fresh Produce sector, who are seeking an passionate 'people person' to join their Learning & Development team based local to Waltham Cross.
This is a vital and exciting role, whereby you will be at the centre of the development of the companies engagement initiativesand create and deliver strategies to support retention, communication, and employee engagement objectives.
Accountabilities of the Engagement Officer include:
*To support the organisation with the delivery of high-quality communications and employee engagement activity to drive and support the delivery of people objectives e.g., retention, performance, communication, recognition, reward, and development
*Work with various stakeholders from across the business to support the design and facilitation for a wide range of projects, activities and initiatives that impact the employee.
*Champion company engagement events/initiatives to increase participation through creative and proactive communication strategies.
*Engagement including forums, committees, employee briefings, management meetings etc.
*Keep communication channels across the business updated regularly and in line with business branding e.g., notice boards, comms tv's
*Working with various stakeholders and senior management - Identify and implement continuous improvements to deliver new and innovative ways to engage, empower, reward, recognise, communicate, and evaluate activity making suggestions for improvements.
*Establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, managers and other stakeholders as required through visibility and open communication.
To be considered for the position:
*You will have experience in a similar role relating to employee engagement or be a recent graduate in marketing or similar with an keen interest in people.
*Have a creative flair and a great eye for creating impactful content.
*You will be passionate about people.
*You will have excellent communication skills
*You will have access to a car and happy to travel to different sites within the UK as required.
