    About my Client:
    My client is seeking a skilled

    Studio Photographer

    to become part of their team. They are a specialized Packaging Design company providing in-house design, production & technology services.

    Purpose of a Studio Photographer:


    As a Photographer, you will have a vital role in capturing and preserving moments for their FMCG branded and retail clients.

    You will have the chance to work in a lively and dynamic setting. You will cooperate with internal account teams

    clients, designers, food stylists, and other team members to ensure the achievement of the desired images.

    Key responsibilities of a Studio Photographer:
    • Collaborate with clients and internal team to plan and execute photo shoots.
    • Keen eye for detail to capture product shot in alignment with brand.
    • Select and set up suitable equipment and props for each shoot.
    • Ensure correct lighting and composition for each shot.
    • Enhance image quality and aesthetics through editing and retouching.
    • Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in photography.
    • Understand specifications and collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts.
    • Process images until desired results are achieved.
    • Enhance image quality through different editing methods.
    • Utilize and maintain technical equipment (cameras, lenses, etc.)
    • Arrange objects, scenes, lighting, and background based on specifications.
    • Archive images and manage the database.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of photographic best practices.

    Requirements for a Studio Photographer:
    • Manage and oversee a photography studio, including hiring staff and mentoring junior employees.
    • Demonstrated experience as a professional food photographer, client-facing.
    • Proficient in operating DSLR cameras and photography equipment.
    • Solid grasp of lighting techniques and composition.
    • Excellent knowledge of photo editing software like Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom.
    • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
    • Attention to detail and a sharp eye for aesthetics.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Meticulous, organized, and technically skilled.
    • Proven professional photography experience.
    • Impressive portfolio showcasing work.
    • Proficiency in traditional and modern equipment, shooting, lighting, and printing.
    • Thorough understanding of Photoshop, Capture One, or other photography software.
    • Competency in applying photographic best practices and techniques.
    • Understanding of production processes and various printing applications.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
    • Photography degree or equivalent qualification.
