- Ensure invoices are correctly authorised, and loaded to Purchase Ledger with correct codes.
- Ensure Payments are made and bank reconciliations completed.
- Assist in checking payroll data.
- Additional ad-hoc accounting tasks across month and year end close.
- Coordinate compliance matters relating to legal, health and safety (H&S), first aid and fire safety requirements across the charity's various sites.
- Designated ISO Quality Manager, overseeing self-assessed, internal, and external ISO audits.
- Office management and site manager for Head Office.
- Ensure effective IT, technology, and systems support (currently outsourced) provision to meet business needs.
- Undertake other tasks requested by the CEO, Head of Finance and Operations. You will have experience working in a similar capacity and enjoy being given autonomy and regular ad hoc projects. In addition you will have sound Excel ability and be able to report results coherently to your colleagues and senior management team. The role requires an individual who will question findings as opposed to simply identify issues.
