Description

Would you enjoy being "the face" of a large organisation and creating a professional and welcoming first impression? If so, we are looking to recruit a part time Facilities Administrator/ Receptionist to complete a 12 month fixed term contract.


You will be part of the Property & Facilities Department where you will create a welcoming environment for colleagues as well as providing administrative support to operational requirements.

The role will be based in our brand-new office in the heart of the White Rose Centre, Leeds. It's designed to provide a flexible and comfortable working environment, which you will help maintain. We offer free onsite parking as well as excellent public transport links. Our office is equipped with a high tech coffee machine and other free perks such as tea, breakfast items (cereals, fruit) and themed days


The site also boosts an onsite canteen with home cooked meals daily subsided by 35%, as well as an outdoor gym and pre organised yoga classes.

We really go above and beyond to ensure our staff are looked after.


What you'll be doing:


  • Supporting security with access control, ensuring only permitted people come in to building and assisting colleagues who have forgotten access cards
  • Collaborating with on site security by logging in all new starters/ contractors/ visitors etc for a smooth arrival process
  • Receiving, collecting incoming/outgoing mail, assisting with deliveries, and courier consignments
  • Preparing meeting rooms for the day and prepare booking sheets for next day
  • Making sure communal areas are fit for purpose whilst logging maintenance with landlords and maintenance team
  • Assisting with H&S/ environmental audits and ensuring documents are completed and stored in the right place for audits

What you'll bring:


  • A background in customer facing roles, delivering a friendly and professional service
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for interacting with colleagues and customers
  • Strong administrative and IT skills, more specifically MS Office software (Outlook, Word and Excel)

It would be great if you had:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or facilities role
  • Relevant H&S qualifications
