An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Strategic Projects Team and help drive forward the strategic agenda of one of the UK's largest and most ambitious universities.

Key to delivering this agenda is our portfolio of strategic projects which will help transform the organisation and enhance our offer to students, staff and the wider community.

These projects represent major investments by the University and are typically large scale and highly complex, involving multiple stakeholders and interdependencies across the institution.


As a Project Support Officer, you will:

  • Support the delivery of some of the unique, ambitious and transformative strategic projects within our portfolio.
  • Service project boards and workstream meetings, engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Act as the first point of contact for projects, working closely with Project Managers.
  • Manage the administrative support for projects, providing effective planning and coordination of strategic projects, becoming involved in specific project development tasks and work as necessary
  • Be visible and proactive in providing daily support to Strategic Projects.
  • Be able to work flexibly at pace in a complex environment whilst balancing competing priorities.
  • Have the passion, ability and experience to provide high quality project support
  • Feel comfortable taking ownership of and resolving complex queries.
This is a fixed term post for 12 months as maternity cover.
