Administrator - Payroll Department

The Role


To support the payroll and pension teams in providing an efficient payroll bureau service for a client-base of education establishments.


Responsilibities

  • To load the monthly BACS files in readiness for transmitting for all net pay and 3rd party payments.
  • To contribute to the creation of the monthly BACS schedule.
  • To monitor and ensure that all BACS payments are loaded in line with the monthly BACS schedule.
  • To escalate any validation issues on the BACS files via the appropriate route.
  • To contribute to, and participate in, project work as and when required.
  • To support the payroll manager and pensions manager in the completion of administration tasks.
  • To liaise with external agencies and organisations e.g. pension authorities, local education authorities, HMRC, Unions and other third parties.
  • To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as are reasonably requested by the Line Manager.

Experience

  • Administration experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Excellent Microsoft Office experience

Salary:
£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
