Administrator - Payroll Department
The Role
To support the payroll and pension teams in providing an efficient payroll bureau service for a client-base of education establishments.
Responsilibities
- To load the monthly BACS files in readiness for transmitting for all net pay and 3rd party payments.
- To contribute to the creation of the monthly BACS schedule.
- To monitor and ensure that all BACS payments are loaded in line with the monthly BACS schedule.
- To escalate any validation issues on the BACS files via the appropriate route.
- To contribute to, and participate in, project work as and when required.
- To support the payroll manager and pensions manager in the completion of administration tasks.
- To liaise with external agencies and organisations e.g. pension authorities, local education authorities, HMRC, Unions and other third parties.
- To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as are reasonably requested by the Line Manager.
Experience
- Administration experience
- Customer service experience
- Excellent Microsoft Office experience
Salary:
£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
