We are recruiting now for Support Practitioners to join our established team in Gorebridge, Newtongrange, Loanhead and the surrounding Midlothian areas.

If you're good at seeing people as unique individuals with their own skills, opinions, and dreams then we currently have a variety of part time and full time opportunities for you to join our team in Gorebridge, Newtongrange, Loanhead and the surrounding Midlothian areas.

The Midlothian Visiting Team provides support for Adults who reside in the Local Community. The support that the team deliver is extensive, and Person Centred to the Individual.
The Team has a variety of skills , with continuous Training and Development.

They work with people who may have Autism , Dementia , Neurological Conditions and also specialise in Mental Health , Social and Tenancy Support.

.As a Support Practitioner you will support people with all aspects of daily living at home and in their communities. You will assist people with planning for their future and to prevent the effects of social isolation and loneliness in their lives. We adopt a person centred approach to working with individuals who require support for a variety of reasons including Mental Health, Autism, Physical & Learning Disabilities.
You don't need to have experience, as full training is provided, but the right values and motivation are essential; We welcome applications from any candidates already eligible to work in the UK or those that can apply for a visa granting permission to work in the UK (e.g. dependent visas, ancestry etc.) It is currently our policy not to offer sponsorship for prospective candidates.
