    Description

    Right Now Group are working with a specialist Global Freight Forwarder of perishables based at LHR, who are looking to expand their Imports Team. They are looking for somebody with 360 Import Experience, who can join their Nights unit. The ideal candidate will have plenty of experience managing Import consignments from start to finish, with a focus on perishable freight by air, sea & road.

    While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.

    This individual will be expected to facilitate the movement of Freight into the country and manage the necessary documentation and forms for the most efficient and cost-effective execution, with a strong knowledge of ETSF & customs processes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Managing air, sea and land import consignments for perishable goods from start to finish.
    • Communicating closely with customers and suppliers, in all relevant territories to ensure updates are passed on efficiently.
    • Liaising with the distribution and warehouse teams to ensure the movement of freight is swift and effective.
    • Use a strong knowledge of import documentation and customs processes to provide a seamless experience for customers.
    • Ensure compliance is followed as per the CAA and customs regulations.

    Experience Required:

    • Experience working within Air Import Operations, with a focus on perishable movements.
    • Strong knowledge of customs regulations and ETSF processes.

    • Problem-solving skills and a strong ability to work under pressure Shift: 4 ON 4 OFF (Nights) - 12hrs Salary - £35,000 - £40,000 + Overtime (Time 1⁄2) Location: West Drayton
