The HR Generalist

will:


  • Provide support to ensure delivery is in line with the overall strategy and objectives
  • Provide line management and employees with guidance and advice on employment matters, policies and procedures and terms and conditions
  • Maintain HR Systems including Employee Database, Recruitment platforms, Job boards, Leavers platform and Onboarding System.
  • Manage the absence management process including ; long term sick and absence triggers
  • To advise, guide and support managers relating to employee relations i.e.
  • Conflict and grievance resolution
  • Disciplinary, performance and welfare issues
  • Lead all elements in the recruitment process including ; advertising, shortlisting, interviewing and liaising with agencies.
  • Lead the Onboarding process of new employees
  • Assist with Administration of employee lifecycle
  • Assist in HR related adhoc projects
  • Undertake any other activities as required by the post

About You:


Essential

  • A proven track record of handling ER issues in a fast paced work environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent Time management and planning skills to deliver against agreed targets and objectives
  • Self motivated with the drive and determination to build a long term career
  • Take responsibility and be able to respond to issues raised
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • A current driving licence and able to travel across UK and Ireland
  • Competent in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and HR Systems

Desirable

  • CIPD Qualified
  • A basic disclosure may be requested if security clearance is required by 3rd party clients and a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position. Our Access NI/Vetting and Barring Scheme Policy and Policy on the Recruitment of Ex-Offenders is available upon request._
