Banquet Supervisor

Mission:
Oversee the banquet event and ensure that the banquet staff complies with all service standards and department policies. Act as the single point of contact with the event host or meeting planner during the event function.


What will you be doing?

  • Ensuring that all guests are welcomed into the outlets in a warm, genuine and professional manner
  • To work closely with the Conference and Banqueting Manager in ensuring that improvements in the department are on going and consistent.
  • Ensure that high standards of personal and food hygiene are maintained within all areas of the department.
  • Anticipating and identifying guest expectations, to ensure that their needs are met and where possible to exceed demand
  • Move furniture and setup the Events spaces according to the Function sheet

Requirements:


  • Have a good attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Good spoken/written English
  • Flexibility is essential as the events schedule is always changing.
  • Must be able to work full time.
  • Be able to stay standing long periods of time and carry heavy objects
