Business Unit description:


Finance and Corporate Services


Our Finance and Corporate Services business unit brings together a number of organisation-wide functions, activities and support services to manage and support initiatives that drive organisational performance, efficiency, delivery and implementation.


Functions within the unit include financial planning and accounting, facilities and estates, commercial, risk and resilience, health and safety, legal and compliance, information governance, corporate governance and business support.

About the role:

Working in a proactive and reactive way to deliver a first-class office experience for our people/clients/customers.

Working with key building stakeholders (Estates, EUC, IT etc.) ensuring that the facilities on offer are delivered to a high and consistent standard.

Due to the nature of this role, it is mainly office based.


Key accountabilities:


  • Stakeholder management of the floor occupiers, developing key contacts in each team
  • Managing requests for adjustments to room layouts and ensuring rooms are ready for use
  • Monitoring the cleanliness of the office space and working with cleaning contractors to rectify any issues
  • Day to day management of the desk and room booking system
  • Identify any issues on the office floors and ensure timely resolutions
  • Resolve any room booking conflicts or issues with stakeholders
  • Work with the Estates team and other support services to ensure service standards are maintained
  • Develop SLAs that ensure that the end user experience in the office is met/exceeded
  • Work with the Wow Champions, Staff Consultation Group and Estates team to gather timely feedback on user experience and develop action plans to rectify any issues raised/identify areas for improvement
  • Monitoring use of office space, escalating any unacceptable behaviours
  • Writing communications to site users regarding latest onsite developments

Skills, qualifications, and experience:


  • Previous experience of facilities provision in a large office environment
  • Previous experience of planning and supporting at Company events
  • Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety with IOSH qualification (desirable)
  • Practical knowledge of using audiovisual equipment for meetings and presentations
  • Previous experience of desk booking systems administration
  • Solutions focused
  • IT literate in all Microsoft Office packages
  • Demonstrable experience of developing and maintaining positive, effective relationships and partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders and customers at all levels
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise changing workloads in a busy, fast paced environment
  • Ability to plan and organise workload, working to deadlines under mínimal supervision
  • Always offers excellent levels of customer service and in all situations
  • Ability to think ahead, planning and anticipating situations, mitigating risks
  • Confident to constructively challenge the status quo through evidencebased recommendations
