Description

The V&A Audience, Commercial and Digital division is responsible for making our visitors feel part of the V&A's growing family of sites.

The department leads the V&A's brand, audience, reputation, digital, front of house and commercial (retail, catering, eCommerce, publishing, brand licensing and ticketing) activity, building a lasting relationship with current and future audiences, driving value and revenue in the process.

This role sits within the Retail team.

You will work as part of the Merchandising team to build product ranges for all V&A shops that reflect the varied needs of our V&A audience, for both core and exhibition ranges, contributing to a retail offer worthy of the V&A brand and reputation.


Main purpose of the role

  • To work as part of the Retail team at the V&A to potentialize the product proposition in all Shops in a manner consistent with the values, aspirations, and overall brand strategy of the V&A.
  • To maximize sales and profit of the trading operation through cost efficiencies, effective stock ordering and delivery management. To help create the best, most innovative museum trading in the world.
  • To work alongside the Head of Merchandising and Senior Merchandiser to manage & develop the Merchandising Team.
