We're looking for a Works Manager to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks Team based in the Southwest.

Location: Devon & Cornwall - Site Based

Contract: Permanent - Full Time

What will you be responsible for?

As a Works Manager, you'll be working within the Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks Team, supporting them in the on-site management of Civil & General Construction Works including combined schemes within our planned workstream.

What will your day to day look like?

Your day to day will include:

• Conduct workforce briefings and inductions as needed for project completion.
• Manage and coordinate site-based labor, including subcontractors while also taking full responsibility of Health & Safety for allocated projects.
• Develop and maintain weekly progress programs while tracking project advancement.
• Ensure timely procurement and material call-off to support project execution.
• Maintain records of site events, equipment logs, and material receipts, while also overseeing site engineering requirements and health and safety compliance.
• Work with Site Manager to plan and deliver single or multiple small projects within budget & programme.

What are we looking for?

This role of Works Manger is great for you if you have:

• SMSTS / NEBOSH
• Site Management experience in the water / construction industry
• Industry applicable ONC/HNC/B.Eng. or NVQ equivalent
