We are currently seeking a Chef to join our team at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst.

Responsibilities

Efficient food production following recipe guidelines
Thorough understanding of all menu offerings
Manage production to minimize waste
Ensure consistent food levels during all service periods
Maintain food quality and uphold brand standards
Adhere to high hygiene and safety standards as per Aramark regulations and report any issues
Track and document consumption and excess production
Assist in creating shift opening and closing checklists
Collaborate with your manager to suggest ideas for improvement
Train and guide new team members on kitchen procedures and standards
Participate in relevant training sessions as needed
While primarily based at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, flexibility to work at the Frimley Cadet Training Centre may be required

In addition, Chefs may be asked to perform occasional extra duties as per business needs.

Requirements

Mandatory: NVQ Level 2 in Culinary Arts or equivalent qualification
Food hygiene certificate - Level 2
