    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

    The Hardware Test Engineer will have a direct impact on our production group, responsible for:

    · Design, build, test and releasing into production new pieces of testing equipment throughout the factory and overseas.

    · Resolving testing issues to maintain a First Past Yield of 98% and minimal downtime of existing equipment

    · Fault findings on issues found on ICT and liaising with external contractors

    · Coaching and developing fellow associates on test hardware principals (schematic capture, ICT, CAD).

    WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    You will bring experience of developing reliable hardware test equipment with well demonstrated success in a time efficient manner.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    · HNC / Diploma / Electronics Engineering Degree

    · 3+ years in electronics ideally within a manufacturing environment

    · Working experience of supporting ICT machines

    · Circuit design using CAD

    · Demonstrable electronic hardware design and diagnostic skills with debug to component level

    · Good understanding of electronic system interactions with mechanical systems

    · Excellent IT skills with office tools with PCB

    · Basic mechanical fitting and assembly

    · Understanding of quality processes, error proofing and continuous improvement

    · Willing to investigate and learn new techniques / technologies

    · Good communication skills and ability to work with contractors

    · Highly motivated with an ability to work alone or as part of a team

    · Ability to coach and train others

    · Project management skills
