Class - Store deliveries

Main Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
  • Verify the accuracy of delivery orders before departure
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
  • Maintain delivery logs and records, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the delivery vehicle
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or malfunctions

Skills:


  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
  • Ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles, such as flatbed trucks or vans
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure ontime deliveries
  • Strong communication skills to interact with customers in a professional manner
  • Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of cargo
  • Attention to detail to verify accuracy of delivery orders

Salary:
£10.98 per hour
