Key responsibilities
- Purchase ledger duties such as coding and posting of purchase invoices, account maintenance and statement reconciliations
- Sales ledger duties such as raising invoices, account opening and maintenance, customer receipts, credit control and reviewing credit limits
- Entering bank payments, receipts and performing bank reconciliations
- Handling employees expense claims
- HR administration such as new starter onboarding, maintain staff files, maintain training matrix, right to work checks and all other aspects of HR administration
- Health and Safety administration such as maintain compliance such as DSE assessments, issue risk assessments and renewals, course booking and all other aspects of H&S administration
- Be the first point of contact for customers, both trade and domestic
- Assist and report accurately to the Directors, senior managers and employees within the business and wider group
- Dealing directly with our external HR and Health & Safety professionals
- Any other ad hoc accounts duties arising from the accounts function
Essential experience
- Experience of working in a similar role within a multicompany environment
- A good understanding of Sage50 accounting system
- Good working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Good communication skills
- Ability to interpret numbers and financial information

Salary:
£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
