Description

Due to a period of continued growth, our client, a Healthcare Communications agency based in Buckinghamshire, is recruiting for a hands-on Finance Director with the drive, energy and personable approach to support the leadership team and to continue to evolveand innovate the financial reporting of the business as well as mentor and develop the finance team.

As the Finance Director and a member of the senior leadership team supporting the Managing Director and team in running the business, your core responsibilities will be:

Production of monthly board report
Manage the accounting process alongside a strong Finance Manager.
Manage the annual process with the Company Accountants and support the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
Ensure that the accounts function is operated in a controlled environment through regular review of Balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.
Support commercial teams in production of monthly billing and forecasts.
Interact with HMRC to ensure timely submission and payment of VAT and payroll taxes.
Negotiate with insurance providers for new and existing insurance policies.
Review and manage all payments into company's online banking software.
Support with the revenue forecasting
Support with the resourcing needs of the business to ensure optimal functioning of teams
Run and analyse and report on client profitability and utilisationInnovate and suggest improved reporting across the business

Key Skills & Competencies:

Ideally you will have previous commercial finance experience within a similar all round Finance Director role within a Marketing / Communications / Creative agency along with a strong financial communications skills both written and verbal and a good teamplayer and mentor.
