Graphic Arts is an established, family-run manufacturing and printing company based in Coventry with divisions selling promotional merchandise, signage and retail displays.
The company has seen significant growth over recent years and has ambitious future growth plans.With a focus on providing high quality solutions and customer service excellence, we are seeking a Production Assistant to join our dynamic team.
Job Overview:
In this position you will be working in the production team engaged in the production of graphics, signage, printing, and associated activities required for the company's daily operation.
You will have the opportunity to work with a range of modern print equipment and quickly become a key player in our growing team.
Reports to:
Print Production Manager
Also liaises with:
Production Team, Operations Team, Warehouse Team
Role Objectives and Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- General finishing (hand or machine, flatbed cutters, laminators etc.)
- Learning how to operate large format printers
- Taking accurate instructions and working off job sheets
- General upkeep and maintenance of machines
- Ensuring all jobs are completed accurately and on time
- Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment
- Being flexible to assist with other duties as required
- Supporting the smooth flow of work through the production department
- Have a positive cando approach to facilitate the company's general daytoday operations
Requirements:
- Good general education with at least five GCSEs or equivalent
- Good communication skills
- Clear command of written and spoken English
- Accuracy and good attention to detail
- Ability to work alone and with others as required
- A cando attitude
- Commitment to the company values of integrity, quality, team spirit.

The role is for a 40-hour week Monday - Friday with some flexibility for hours within the 7am - 5pm window.
Occasional overtime or early starts may be required. 28 days holiday annually including bank holidays.Salary and Benefits
- Salary from £23,800 depending on experience (from £18,000 for age 1820)
- 28 days annual leave including bank and public holidays
- Free company lunch provided daily
- Flexible hours

From £23,000.00 per year
