1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced ASC Specialist looking for your next opportunity in November? Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a nurturing and firm TA to work 1:1 with a child in KS1 on a part-time basis.

Tradewind are recruiting for an SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream Primary school central to Oldham.

The position is part-time, working 2 or 3 days a week on a 1:1 basis with a student in Year 2, therefore knowledge of the curriculum and in particularphonics would be advantageous.

You will be working with the class teacher to develop their speech and language skills, and supervising the student outside, so being physically active is a bonus.

Tradewind offer above-market rates of pay, with the daily ratein the region of £70 - £77 per day.

Your duties might include:
Supporting and managing a pupil with autistic traits, mainly on a 1:1 basis
Taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the young people in your care
Supporting the school team to provide a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for students to learn
