We're looking to recruit a Community Caretaker to join our Resident Services team at based at our Roman Way office in Islington.

In this role, you'll be part of a small team of caretakers to ensure a high standard of safety and cleanliness in the internal and external communal areas of the estate.
The role will require mopping, sweeping and litter-picking of a designated patch, working with other team member to move bulky items and light gardening duties.
You'll also carry out Health and & Safety checks and help us ensure that our communal areas are safe for everyone.
You may be required to work in neighbouring areas from occasionally to provide cover and assistance.Duties of a Community Caretaker
- Deliver a highquality caretaking service, ensuring that your allocated patch is cleaned and maintained to a consistently high standard.
- Report any communal repairs including faulty lighting, doors and any communal issue that may impact on the Health and Safety of our customers, staff or visitors.
- Work cooperatively with other team members to move bulk rubbish for collection.
- Work proactively with our contractors to assist with access and information.
- Act in an ambassadorial manner to represent the interests of the Hyde Group to our customers.
- Work cooperatively with our Resident Service colleagues particularly the property Manager and Surveyors to actively assist them in their role.
- Ensure the estate is maintained to specification, in order to enhance resident satisfaction: All gardens, courtyard areas and planted areas to be kept well maintained and free from rubbish and weeds.
- Act as point of contact for all communal repairs and coordinate use of communal keys for contractors' access as and when required
Experience & Skills
- Caretaking experience preferred.
- Should have practical skills and be ready to work in all weather conditions
- Good verbal communication skills including with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and customers
- IT literacy an advantage
