In addition to providing turnkey solutions for the Aerospace and Land Based Gas Turbine industries, Winbro has an approved component manufacturing facility which utilises our own machines and technologies.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high quality trading relationships with suppliers
  • Liaison with internal customers to determine supply and quality requirements
  • Commoditybased materials ownership
  • Provide accurate costing information and specifications from suppliers
  • Supply chain development
  • Negotiation of prices, terms and conditions to obtain the best quality supply and commercial agreement with suppliers
  • Ensuring QCD of purchased goods and services.
  • Raise, monitor, progress and chase purchase orders
  • Deliver quantifiable cost saving results without compromising quality
  • Expediting

Requirements:


  • Good standard of education
  • CIPS qualified or working towards CIPS qualification
  • Previous experience of working in a fast paced environment
  • Ideally previous procurement experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Selfmotivated and flexible, with a good attitude to work
  • Strong understanding of purchasing techniques demonstrated through negotiation and managing the supply base
  • Experience of large, complex Bills of Materials
  • Knowledge of Factory Master would be desirable but not essential

  • Good organisation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong financial and numerical skills


  • Strong IT skills

  • ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel
